the longest natural beach on Ruegen, to Cape Arkona (2)

11.15 h · Take the Arkona train
from Putgarten (3) to the fishing
village of Vitt (4), from there, walk along the bank to the
North Cape with its view over the Baltic Sea to the chalk cliffs.
Return to Putgarten on the Arkona train

13.30 h · Travel on to the "King's
Seat" on the chalk cliffs (Victoria's View) in the National
Park Visit the Jasmund/Stubben Room (5)
including introductory slide show

15.15 h · Leave for the Baltic
seaside resort Binz (6) Time to be spent as you choose on
the Sea Promenade

17.00 h · Return to Putbus
(7) - then via Garz back to Stralsund

along the sea route via Garz to Putbus (1),
the former royal residence with buildings at the Circus in the Classical
style. Walk through the Putbus Park with its rare trees, orangery
and stables.

10.15 h · Continue to the Baltic
seaside resort of Sellin (2) - famous
for its architecture (visit the new pier built in the old architectural
tradition)

11.45 h · Travel on to Binz

(take the "Racing Roland" train from Sellin to Binz if
you wish)
Walk along the Sea Promenade

13.30 h · Continue via the former
spa Prora (4) to Sassnitz and from
there to the "King's Seat" (as an option you can take
a boat trip from Sassnitz along the chalk cliffs to the "King's
Seat")

14.30 h · Arrival at the "King's
Seat" (5) -chalk cliffs (Victoria's View) in the National
Park / Visit the Stubben Room including introductory slide show

15.30 h · Return to Stralsund
after a short stop at the Granitz Hunting
Lodge (6)
on Temple Hill where you can enjoy a wonderful view over the Baltic
Sea and the resorts Binz, Prora, Mukran, Sassnitz and Cape Arkona
with its two striking lighthouses
